What this website is, and is not

The Invest pages describe how people and companies can lend money to Regenerative Finance CIC for five years so that we can lend it on to nature projects. They are a description, not an offer. Any investment is made only under written terms that set out everything that matters, and only after you have had the chance to read them.

Who it is for

Investment with us is for United Kingdom taxpayers and companies who are able to set the tax relief against a tax liability and who can leave their money with us for at least five years.

The risks

Your capital is at risk. Loans to nature projects can and will sometimes fail to repay, and you could get back less than you put in. Tax relief depends on your circumstances and on the Community Investment Tax Relief scheme continuing in its current form. Investments cannot be withdrawn early without losing relief.

Our loans are expected to be backed by the British Business Bank under the government's Growth Guarantee Scheme. That guarantee reduces our losses if a loan fails; it does not guarantee your investment. The guarantee is yet to be finalised and confirmed, and is subject to change.

Past performance is not a guide to the future, and we have no past performance yet: this is a new company making its first loans.
