What we collect when you contact us, why, where it is kept, and your rights.

Who we are

Regenerative Finance CIC is a community interest company registered in England and Wales, number 17444629, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. It is managed day to day by The Impact Factory (2026) Limited. For anything about your personal information, write to info@regenerativefinance.org.uk.

What we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect what you type into it: your name, organisation, email address, phone number, what you are interested in and your message.

Our hosting provider records the technical details every website records when a page is requested, such as your internet address and browser type, so that the site can be kept secure. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and the site does not set tracking cookies.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry. If you ask about borrowing or investing, to assess that enquiry and take the steps you have asked for before any agreement. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the company and responding to people who contact us, and, where you ask us to, taking steps before entering a contract with you.

You do not have to give us any of this information, but without it we cannot reply to you. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to keep in touch.

Where it is kept and for how long

Contact form messages are stored by our database provider, Supabase, on servers in Ireland, inside the European Union, which the United Kingdom recognises as protecting personal information to an equivalent standard. The website is served by Vercel, and each enquiry is also emailed to us, so copies pass through our email providers, some of which are based in the United States. Where information leaves the United Kingdom in that way it is protected by the contract terms that United Kingdom law requires for overseas transfers.

We keep enquiries for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you go on to borrow from us or invest with us, we keep the records of that relationship for six years after it ends, because the law requires it.

Who we share it with

The Impact Factory, which manages the company on our behalf; the providers who host the website and its database; and professional advisers where we need their help to respond to you. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to info@regenerativefinance.org.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
